Hum Automation Concept — For Club And Culture

Hum Automation is a concept project I worked on as a member of the innovation team for the consumer side of Verizon Connect, Verizon’s connected car/telematics division.

As a member of this small tactical team, we were tasked with exploring new concepts for the Hum product that leveraged current and future technologies. My specific focus was to concept an automation management platform for Hum’s desktop portal.

Build automations to help your life or your business run more efficiently. Customers can build automations that leverages Hum’s connectivity to you car, and automates a wide range of tasks for them.

Key Delighter: Proactive engagement of multiple tasks, allowing customers to better prioritize.

Leasing a vehicle? Set up an automation to alert you when you’re within your mileage limit.

Key Delighter: User is avoiding potential mileage overages when leasing a vehicle. Saving them money, and adding convenience.

Keep track of how the vehicles in the family are doing from your Google Home devices...

Key Delighter: Knowing what’s going on with your vehicle (or vehicles of those in your household) creates a heightened sense of confidence and security.

Connect with third party vendors to create smart device automations…and a Hum Automations Marketplace.

Key Delighter: Better integration with other smart devices that customers use, could increase use and stickiness.
